Italy is, in my opinion, without a doubt, the sexiest country on the planet. Art, architecture, food, culture and the people. Everything is sexy.
I made four trips to Italy, 2006, twice in 2007 and again in 2011. I visited Naples and Florence twice. I could easily live in Florence except during the tourist summer season. I was there in October and November. The only way to go.
